Hitler's Salami Wizard! A Delicious Delight!!
December 28th 2007 21:27
Everyone knows about Hitler. He pioneered the skin-tight Uniform. He created an amazing workout that looks a lot like marching and saluting. He even set into trend the "Short Stash" moustache fashion. However what a lot of people don't know about him is that he also loved Subs. He loved the Sub Sandwich so much that he based most of his life around it and spent the greater majority of his years delving into the Science of a great Sandwich. In this edition of "Fascism and Food" lets explore Hitler's rise to greatness and his inevitable fall.
Hitler's interest in the Sandwich process began when he was only 35. He took a job at a Subway and quickly found that he was very talented at the trade. He could craft a Sandwich faster and with more delicious flavor than any other employee there. It wasn't long before Hitler was manager of the Subway.
During this time he met his best friend. The Hamburgler. The Hamburgler and Hitler shared their hopes and dreams of Sandwich expertise and mastery. Yet they differed in their beliefs. The Hamburgler started to dabble in alternative sandwiches such as the Burger and Cheese Steak. While Hitler stayed true to the Sub. Soon their friendship crumbled and the two became mortal enemies.
While Hitler's beloved friendship with the Hamburgler may have failed. His passion about his Subs continued. He would toil night after night away in his laboratory experimenting with new meats and sauces to achieve Sandwich Immortality. He later wrote a book called "Mein Kompf" which is about Hitler's conflict with the Hamburgler and his struggle to create the perfect Sandwich.
Finally in 2002 Hitler unveiled his master creation at "Sandwich Day 2002". He proclaimed that he had made a Master Race of Sub Sandwiches and that the sandwich was named the "Hitler Salami Wizard". Combining the natural flavors of Salami and fascist oppression Hitler created one heck of a tasty sandwich. To this day the Sandwich is still enjoyed around the world as a traditional favorite for people suffering under tyranny and darkness. Hitler's legacy lives on in the mind's and hearts of all us and most certainly in our stomachs where Hitler's Salami Wizard continues to inspire new Sandwich makers to heights of untold madness!!
Mmmm YEAH!
